Celebrating Innovation and the Clinical Research Community
Back in December, the OWL Oncology Research team headed to London for the SCRIP Awards. It’s always a highlight of our year—a night to step back from the data and the day-to-day to honor the hard work happening across the global biopharma and clinical research space.
While we didn’t bring home a trophy this time, we left the evening feeling energized. Being a finalist for the second year in a row is a milestone we don’t take lightly. It’s a meaningful nod to the work our team puts in and the strength of the partnerships we’ve built across the industry.
What the SCRIP Awards Are All About
Hosted annually by Citeline, the SCRIP Awards are widely considered one of the most prestigious honors in our field. They recognize everything from breakthrough scientific discoveries and clinical advances to the strategic partnerships that make those breakthroughs possible. More than just a ceremony, it’s a global gathering of people dedicated to one goal: getting better treatments to patients.
Cheers to the 2025 Winners
The competition was incredibly stiff this year, and the room was full of organizations doing truly transformative work. We were genuinely happy to see our peers recognized for their contributions. Huge congratulations to a few of this year’s standouts:
Best New Drug: Syndax Pharmaceuticals’ Revuforj
Clinical Advance of the Year:Â Summit Therapeutics & Akeso
Best CRO (Full-Service):Â Parexel
Best CRO (Specialist):Â CluePoints
Best Oncology R&D Advance:Â Candel Therapeutics
Pharma Company of the Year:Â AstraZeneca
Lifetime Achievement:Â Noubar Afeyan
Every winner on that list represents a massive leap forward for patient care, and it was a privilege to celebrate alongside them.
More Than Just an Award Ceremony
For us, the night was really about the people. It gave our global team a rare chance to reconnect in person and reflect on why we do this work. Standing alongside such high-caliber organizations is an inspiring reminder of the collective effort it takes to move oncology research forward.
We had a fantastic time together and want to thank the SCRIP team for hosting such a memorable night. Congratulations again to all the winners and our fellow nominees.
Looking Ahead
Being a two-time finalist only motivates us to push harder. We remain focused on advancing oncology research through operational excellence and a genuine dedication to improving patient outcomes.
Thanks for looking back on London 2025 with us. We’re already looking forward to what we can achieve together in the coming year.
